REWIND! Our Beach Bum!

When we went on vacation (almost 2 months ago - remember - I am behind!) we found that Hannah was our little beach bum. She wanted to be on the beach from sun up to sun down. loved it. Loved the sand. Loved the water (up to about mid-shin) and loved everything about it. She always chose BEACH when asked where she wanted to go.

When she got out there she was very serious about her beach play time!! :-)

It was great!

Saturday's Sign

When you see the No Parking sign you should think of:

Philemon 1:6
I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

It also says:
"As you see various No Parking signs, remember that when it comes to practicing your faith there is no standing/ stopping/ parking. Rather actively live a life of faith and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Think of a way you can share your faith with a friend, family member, co-worker or even a stranger."

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
Server the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the LORD, He is GOD;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him and bless His name.
For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 100

Zebra..

So Hannah got a new dress. She wanted to wear it SO bad and so we decided that she would wear it in her Thanksgiving Program at school.

At the Thanksgiving Program each class dresses up. The 3 year old class are Turkeys. My class is Pilgrims. And Hannah's class is Indians.

When I told her to tell someone what she was going to dress up like at her Christmas program... she thought for a minute... hummm... ? A Zebra ?

Then I found out that they would be getting up and down on the floor and sitting criss-cross applesauce on the stage in front of a lot of people and I convinced her to wear it the Wednesday night before to the church building for worship.

Conclusion to this story? - At the Thanksgiving Program this year - there will not be an Indian Zebra!

Hat Day

During the week we were learning about the letter H at school they had a Hat Day.

Hannah chose to wear one of her Daddy's hats and she was so so excited.

Justus would not let me get a picture with just her.

:-)

I didn't fight it.

REWIND! Best Playground Ever!

So, while we are on our vacation (over a month ago) we decided to try to find a park for the kids to play at. Well, we found the best free park we have ever seen. It was amazing. AND, it had all kinds of stuff you could do... Water Park, Basketball Courts, Tether Ball, Shuffle Board....

It was amazing!

Needless to say, the kids were not excited about having to go back to the condo!

Our Sunday Pictures

We have a "sick" one today. I put that in quotes because I think you would tell me I was lying if you were here to see him. He has a fever. That is it. We went to the doc and.... who knows.... anyway, to be safe our little man stayed home in his pj's today.

Saturday's Sign

When you see the Detour sign you should think of ...

Crash Landing

I have no idea why this made me laugh.
It just really looks like this guy crash landed.
Poor thing.

REWIND! Reuniting!

We went on vacation...
It seems like such a long time ago now...

Anyway, I am a little behind so on our way to Marco Island Florida, back at the beginning of October we were blessed to be able to stop and have an ice cream with a few old friends we haven't seen in a while. (And also meet some new ones!)

It was so much fun to sit, talk, catch up, hug and laugh.

Thank You Daniel, Cristina, Ben, Katy, Jayson, and Nicole for meeting up with us for a while. It meant the world to us. When you all are out our way - CALL - we would love to meet you for some ice cream a little closer to our home next time! :-)
